Design
The design structure looks like a digital camera. The dimension is 102 x 48 x 17 mm. It is heavier than previous products but it is no problem because it is still comportable in our hand or our pocket. Camera lens is at backside that protected by an automatic lens cover which will be open when camera is actived. It’s also Available a glass cover to protect camera from dust and dirt.

Screen
Sony Ericsson K850i has a TFT screen which 240×320 pixels resolution. It’s a pity it doesn’t proportional with features and technologies inside, For 5MP camera phone class it should be at least use screen which 16 million colours.

Keypad
Not only looks like digital camera on its design, but it has a unique keypad design. There are no direction navigation buttons but Sonny-Ericsson replaced them by 3 small  white buttons below the screen that function  for menu, select, and back button. Those buttons are working properly when used to change the menu. The numeric keypad are unique in little square form, although they are a little buttons but they are fairly balmy  when depressed.

Camera
Sony-Ericsson K850i offers a digital camera that supported by professional camera features such as: red eye reduction, macro mode, ISO arrangement and 16x digital zoom. When trying to take a picture with maximum resolution and automatic setting at outdoor, the potograph result is so satisfied. Camera is also functioning for recording video with maximum duration depending to memory capacity.

Bestpic
Bestpic feature is like multishot,in once shoot we can get 9 pictures. K850i will automatically choose the best picture for the result. It’s so simple to apply Bestpic operation just click setting button on camera menu and then chose Bestpic menu.

Music
Music player on Sony-Ericsson as same as with walkman class cellphone. It supported by dual speaker, equalizer arrangement and Megabass. But I think the music quality is under of walkman series, when testing in closed room the audio output is  piercing but not too soft.

FM Radio
FM radio is working only if we attached headset to the port because it functions as antenna. The automatic seeking application is useful to search 20 stations that  can be saved and gave the name of each radio station.

Video DJ
Video DJ is facility to edit video files. After record video and save it to memory we can directly edit it easily. There are various editing features such as: insert text, cuts video, make transition. With those features we could be a reliable video editor.

Internet
the high speed of internet connection could be done using colaboration of Net Front Web Browser and HSDPA technology. Sony-Ericsson K850i also can be used as HSDPA modem, just connect it to computer that has been installed the synchronization software on it.

Connectivity
K850i has Bluetooth and USB cable for connectivity device. It’s a pity there is no infrared. In testing to transfer picture file 1,4 MB to computer can be done in 8 second.

Battery
Li-Polimer battery type 930 mAh according to vendor claim can supply energy to cellphone for standby until 400 hours and talk time reached 9 hours, video call up to 3 hours and 20 minutes. In fact the battery endurance is great when testing to continuously played music, it reached up to two days, wow.

Conclusion
The various of multimedia features on Sony-Ericsson K850i are working greatly because of battery endurance supporting. So that, the cellphone could be alive until  4 days within normally in multimedia usage. We can do multitasking on the cellphone.

Therefore in digital transmission the noise is not additive with the number of repeaters and does not accumulate with increased distance.

Motorola has recently introduced the newest RAZR phone series, it was RAZR2 V9 which comes up luxurious with its red coulor and wrapped by stainless steel. Motorola RAZR2 V9 is a multimedia phone which is having a great features such as camera 2 MP, music player and a high speed internet connection through HSDPA technology.

Design
Motorola RAZR2 V9 comes up luxuriant with clamshell design typical of RAZR series. It is slimmer than previous RAZR series. The body structure is wrapped by stainless steel material that make its appearance goes to sturdy and gutsy. RAZR2 V9 is also using screen made from hard material.

Screen
The outside screen is very limpid and wider than the other clamsell phone type, the size is 2 inch which 240×320 Pixels. In a state of closed we can access all menus through touch screen using touch bar. When we touch the screen we will feel a smooth vibration on the play/pause icon.
