Motorola has recently introduced the newest RAZR phone series, it was RAZR2 V9 which comes up luxurious with its red coulor and wrapped by stainless steel. Motorola RAZR2 V9 is a multimedia phone which is having a great features such as camera 2 MP, music player and a high speed internet connection through HSDPA technology.

Design
Motorola RAZR2 V9 comes up luxuriant with clamshell design typical of RAZR series. It is slimmer than previous RAZR series. The body structure is wrapped by stainless steel material that make its appearance goes to sturdy and gutsy. RAZR2 V9 is also using screen made from hard material.

Screen
The outside screen is very limpid and wider than the other clamsell phone type, the size is 2 inch which 240×320 Pixels. In a state of closed we can access all menus through touch screen using touch bar. When we touch the screen we will feel a smooth vibration on the play/pause icon. The inside screen is rather bigger than outside screen, it is 2,2 inch. Both of screen are using the same technology: TFT with 262K colours.

Keypad
RAZR2 V9 is Applying keypad design typical of Motorola. The keypad buttons are big enough for our thumb to exploring them. The circle navigation button is made from glossy metal material, it is very cute. Among the line of the keypad there is an access button to explore browser directly.

Camera
The 2 MP camera is accompanying by standard addition features such as: 8x zoom digital, maximum picture is 1600 x 1200 pixel with quality choice: good, better and best. It’s a pity there is no autofocus but it is good enough to support our hobby in making a photograph.

Music Player
On music features there are bass facility boost and spatial audio that produce a good music quality. Try to arrange the Spatial Audio at level medium to get a suitable audio output. If not satisfy in listening music through loudspeaker, please attach the A2DP bluetooth headset.

Connectivity
There are USB data cable and bluetooth technology to support connectivity between RAZR2 V9 and other peripheral such as other cellphone or PC. They are very useful to use for transfering files or to browse internet as a modem.

Internet
3G and HSPDA are the mainstay features that embedded on this cellphone. The HSDPA technology is very useful for internet application such as Yahoo! Go. 3G and HSDPA with their high speed connection make us happy in browsing internet activity like email, download, video streaming, and or do video calling.

Yahoo! Go
Yahoo! Go has been installed on RAZR2 V9, so that we can open and send email, looking for weather information, entertainment, sport, news, economics, or exploring Flickr anytime, anywhere.

Battery
Motorola Razr2 V9 is using battery Lithium Ion with power of 950 mAh. According to the vendor, the battery can be withstand to standby until 260 hours while talk time is up to 3 hours. In fact the battery endurance is rather disappointed when in testing to make a call, play music, access internet, video calling and take a pictures.

Conclusion
As does RAZR2 V8, music quality is fairly good enough.
Battery endurance is rather disappointed.
